Specification

General
ConverTable bench units are available in 96", 84" and 72" lengths with a standard tabletop height of 29" and a bench height of 17". Each unit feature 15" wide tabletops and 12" wide bench tops. Tables fold down for use as bench-style backs simply by lifting from the top center and rotating downward. Benches fold up easily for convenient, compact storage. All units are shipped fully assembled.

Table and Bench Tops
The durable table and bench tops are a minimum of 3/4" thick. Each top consists of 45 lb. density particle board with a high-pressure plastic laminate top and a balancing sheet below. Around the edges, tight fitting vinyl "T" molding is secured from the underside with fasteners a maximum of 8" on center. Optional spray-applied edge treatment is also available.

Top Support Structure
Tabletops are supported by a continuous 1-3/4", 16-gauge, cold rolled channel apron.

Casters
Four 3" diameter, non-marking, oil-less ball bearing swivel casters are factory installed. Two casters are furnished with locking brakes.

Metal Parts Finishes
End leg assemblies are nickel-chrome plated. All other metal parts are powder coated for a tough, durable finish.

Bench Support Structure
Bench tops are supported by three 1-1/16", 14-gauge steel legs. Each extends to the floor and is capped with a cushioned glide.

End Leg Assemblies
End legs are constructed of all-welded 1-1/4", 14-gauge steel tubing. All linkages are 3/16" thick by 1' wide, connected with 3/8" bolts and secured with nylon insert lock nuts.
